Terms of Service

1. Service Description

TrueSignal analyzes your business information — including work history, credentials, and other proof points — and structures it into an AI-readable TrustRecord. These signals are structured and published, making your business more visible and recommendable by AI platforms.

We may update or modify the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated in advance where possible.

2. Customer Data

• You retain full ownership of all business data you provide.
• By using TrueSignal, you grant us permission to process this data for the purpose of creating trust signals and publishing them in AI-readable form.
• You may revoke this permission at any time by canceling your subscription. Upon termination, your TrustRecord will be unpublished and your data deleted from our systems.

3. Subscription and Payment

• TrueSignal is billed on a recurring annual basis at the rate you agree to during onboarding.
• Fees are billed in advance, auto-renew each billing cycle, and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Payments will be automatically charged to your authorized payment method.

4. No PII Processing

TrueSignal does not require or process personally identifiable customer data (PII) such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, or payment information. If any such information is ingested in error, it is excluded from publication.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest
• Role-based access controls
• Continuous system monitoring

6. Customer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to provide business data and credentials to TrueSignal.
• All data you provide must be accurate, complete, and truthful. You agree not to submit, create, or manipulate false data (including fake jobs, customers, reviews, or credentials) in an attempt to misrepresent your track record. If you are found to have intentionally manipulated data, your TrustRecord will be removed immediately without refund.
• You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its functionality.

7. Intellectual Property

• All software, formats, schemas, and methods developed by TrueSignal remain the property of TrueSignal.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes only.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrueSignal, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• (a) the data or content you provide,
• (b) your misuse of the Service, or
• (c) your violation of these Terms.

9. Service Availability

We strive for continuous uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for downtime caused by external providers, AI platforms, or force majeure events.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your TrustRecord will be unpublished and your data removed from our systems.

11. Liability

TrueSignal provides its Service "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our maximum liability in any case is limited to the fees you paid to TrueSignal in the 12 months prior to any claim.

12. Force Majeure

TrueSignal is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, AI platform policy changes, strikes, or natural disasters.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, USA.
